Dr Shihab Hussein

Dr Shihab S. Hussein graduated from Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry. Dr Hussein is the Principal Dentist and Clinical lead at The Dental Centre.

Dr Hussein has a broad knowledge and experience in delivering varying dental treatment modalities. He has a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry and smile makeovers, he is skilled in the provision of tooth coloured fillings, porcelain crowns/ veneers and composite veneers/ bonding. He is also a registered Invisalign full provider  (clear braces).He has experience in placing dental implants and restoring them.

He is skilled at treating a wide scope of temporo-mandibular joint dysfunctions (TMJD), which includes and extends beyond the mechanics of the jaw joint, with the aid of a spectrum of oral appliances (splints). He has also treated many patients suffering from obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) with the use of differing mandibular advancement devices (MAD).

Dr Hussein has a calm demeanour and is very patient and understanding when dealing with nervous patients. His gentle delivery of any plan and treatment immediately puts all his patients at ease. Dr Hussein is fluent in Dutch, having been raised in the Netherlands.
