Dr Jill McLoughlin

Dr. Mcloughlin qualified from the London Hospital in 1990, became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1996 and was accredited as a Specialist in Oral Surgery in 2000.  She has practiced in several major hospitals including the Royal London and Northampton. She has been the resident oral surgeon at University College London Dental Centre for more than 25 years as well as a practice in Harley Street.  She continues to work with NHS patients at The Dental Centre, Croydon. Dr. Mcloughlin is a highly experienced oral surgeon and has particular expertise in treating anxious patients.

All patients are seen and managed with utmost care. Dr. Mcloughlin offers various Oral surgery procedures such as:

• Simple and complex dental extractions
• Removal of Simple and Complex Wisdom teeth
• Removal of retained roots
• Orthodontic extractions
• Exposure and bonding of Unerupted teeth for Orthodontics

Most of our oral surgery procedures are carried out gently and quickly using local anaesthetic.  For particularly complicated procedures or very anxious patients we offer sedation which helps to relax patients and to put them more at ease.

Outside of dentistry, Jill is an accredited mediator and trainer in Compassionate Communication, and is the Managing Partner of a training business specialising in workshops in communication.
